Before two weeks ago from 23rd Match 2017, Islamabad High Court announced to shut down the Facebook Until blasphemous content against Islam is permanently removed. Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef also advised to the concern departments to identify the peoples behind this agenda and take a strict action against them.

After Prime Minister’s Advice, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar becomes in action and started the investigation into this matter. He also talked about the Facebook management and the American Government to look after this matter, as this is really against our religion.

After Ch. Nisar’s discussion with Facebook Managment. Facebook took down more than 80% blasphemous content from Facebook. And FIA also arrested three peoples who are suspects of posting blasphemous content against Islam.

Ch. Nisar also hinted that the Facebook Managment is agreed to visit Pakistan soon to discuss more this matter and also other remaining matters.

And finally Today, He confirms that Facebook’s Vice president will visit Pakistan in next month. On his visits, Pakistan Government will discuss the matter of posting blasphemous content. And other related matters that are still pending between Facebook and Pakistan Government.

When asked by ProPakistani. A Facebook spokesperson said that they don’t comment on any upcoming meetings between Facebook with government officials.

While Nisar didn’t specify the name. We think that Vice President for Global Agency Relations, or someone from the legal and regulatory team would be coming to Pakistan.

In a meeting Dr. Syed Ismail Shah (PTA Chairman) asked, that Facebook is corporating with us on this matter. But the response from their side is not yet providing us the satisfaction. However, we are hoping that  Facebook will do the needful that is required for satisfy our needs.
