Porsche Mission E Power Details:

The very essence of the news about this car lies in this that 2016 Porsche Mission-E is all-electric powertrain. Rather they have not used any other powerful resource like gasoline or diesel engines, this car is going to be empowered by turbocharged twin electric engine that produces up to 600HP. It will be equipped with the 800-volt charging system. The company also claims that the driving force behind new Porsche Mission E electric supercar needs only 15 minutes to recharge to 80% from the 0%.

This engine is powered with all-wheel drive for the better control. The acceleration reach to 60 mph (approx. 100 km) within 3.5 seconds, and 0 to 124 mph in under just 12 seconds which is extremely fast and awesome. There is nothing to complain about the performance.

Exterior:

As the engineers and the designers focused on the innovative solutions in terms of aerodynamics it is overall a very eye-catching and simpler than usual. They have assured no compromise on the design as it is the first thing that a buyer looks at.

This is basically a sedan in a racing costume, but the features of this car made it very attractive. There is a new set of headlamps that catch the eye. The four LED units are covered around a flat sensor for the assistance systems whose border serves as an indicator light. The headlamps are placed in deep carve in the front bumper. The bumper is made in traditional Porsche style. The carbon-fiber splitter at the bottom, further enhancing the sporty look.

The back shape of this beauty is also very attractive like the front, and the design is very distinctive. The slim taillights and the red LEDs band is also used to pay tribute to the 911.

The further we go on the profile of this car the Mission E seems more aggressive version of the Panamera because it features two doors on each side. The carbon-fiber tires measure 21 inches at the front and 22 inches to the rear side.

The carbon-fiber material that leads the car to the weight of 1995 kg or 4400 pounds only.

Interior:

It loosely based on the 918 Spyder’s technology. Inside it, Porsche has added eye-tracking control system for its driver’s control, including holograms. That are highly oriented towards the driver by automatically adjusting the displays to the driver’s position and the respective gauge remains always visible. Which sounds very cool. It also follows the seat position.

In addition to this, the Porsche also added the app gesture on the passenger side dashboard. It gives the three-dimensional effects and can control the functions such as media, navigation or climate and can control all this with detector sensors. The apps can updated by the Porsche Connect Store or can contact the Porsche Center for the remote diagnostics.

Drivetrain:

As it is the first ever electric car by the Porsche. it is featuring two permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) similar to 919 Hybrid race car. This sedan is all four wheel drive and Porsche’s Torque Vectoring which automatically distributes torque to the individual wheels.

The best thing in its specification is that it can cover 311 miles on a single charge is equivalent to 500KM. That’s an extra 36 miles over the Model S P85D. This car can charge to 80% from 0% in just 15 minutes which is a record for electric vehicles.
